In one paragraph Fossick is a first-person incremental game from PB& Games. You start with six Pebbles in a hollow at the centre of the rock. Balls ricochet around the cave and break whatever they hit, and broken blocks pay tonnes, which buy new balls and upgrades, eight kinds of ball in all. The rock is older and harder toward the outside, through ten eras from Quaternary clay to Hadean obsidian, and there are fourteen fossils across the three rocks. A fossil only gets its name once it's been dug out completely. It has co-op for two to four players. A game in the Nodule, the smallest rock, takes about 45 minutes, and the two bigger rocks take two to three hours each. At a glance 8 balls: Pebble, Comet, Ember, Arc, Firefly, Lichen, Prism, Lodestone 10 eras of rock, from Quaternary loess to Hadean obsidian (4 000 to 4 600 million years old) 14 fossils, from Smilodon fatalis to Anomalocaris canadensis 3 rocks to dig out: the Nodule (about 45 minutes), then the Concretion, then Ten Million (two to three hours each) 87 tiles in the Tree 1 to 4 players Permission You may record, stream, broadcast and monetise video and images of Fossick, on YouTube, Twitch, TikTok or anywhere else, for as long as you like. AI disclosure Here's where I used AI. The music was generated with Suno, then picked, trimmed and levelled for the game. About half the sound effects started as ElevenLabs generations that were cut and retuned to fit, and the rest, including the tone under every hit, are synthesised from scratch. I used Claude, an AI assistant, for most of the code and most of the writing, in the game and on its store pages. The translations into 13 languages were made with AI too. No image in the game or on its pages is AI-generated. Every picture, the store art included, is rendered by the game. About PB& Games PB& Games is Paul Booth's studio, founded in 2026. Fossick is its second game. The name is a sandwich joke: Paul Booth &, with the blank left for whatever comes next.
